Apple Store Chicago Grand Opening

Yesterday I went to the grand opening of the Apple Store in Chicago, located on the corner of Michigan and Huron. When I got there at about 6 p.m., there must have been well over 1000 people in line; it was stretched all the way around the block! It took me about an hour and a half to get in; and the inside was amazing, with tons of software, and a huge video theater and stage. Apple's going to have different people in for free presentations, such as DJs, directors, and writers. But pictures are sometimes better than words. I've uploaded pictures I took of the Apple Store, as well as a small video clip from T.V..

Lauren Graduates from Law School

My sister Lauren has graduated from John Marshall Law School! Woohoo! After the ceremony, the family went out to dinner at Biche's and ate some great Italian food. I've uploaded pictures of Lauren's graduation.

Kashmir

Man, I've got to post more often--it seems like I keep posting bad news on here. On Thursday, June 12th my dog Kashmir was acting really strangely; he had trouble eating, and went outside and laid in the grass. The emergency vet had a look at him, and after x-rays found he had advanced cancer in his heart. We had to put him to sleep. :( I've put up some cute pictures of Kashmir. Feel free to have a look! BTW, contrary to popular belief, Kashmir was named after the Led Zeppelin song |
